Sara Netanyahu has ‘heartfelt, very warm’ conversation with Melania Trump

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s wife Sara spoke by phone on Saturday night with Melania Trump, the incoming First Lady.

The prime minister’s bureau said the conversation was “heartfelt and very warm.” Mrs. Trump was quoted as saying that she and President-elect Donald Trump are looking forward to hosting the Netanyahus in the White House “at the first opportunity.”

She also that the said relations between the US and Israel, and between their two families, “will be wonderful.”

Among other things, they discussed the challenge of raising children under the spotlight that accompanies their fathers who were elected as world leaders.

Additionally, they discussed the great importance of emphasizing family time as part of their role as mothers in order to enable their children to grow up in a normal way like all their friends.

Netanyahu himself spoke to Trump shortly after his victory, and Trump invited him to Washington “at the first opportunity.”
