WATCH: Hundreds of teenagers cause chaos in the streets, take over downtown Chicago

Chicago police arrested eight teenagers after hundreds swarmed downtown, assaulting civilians—sending one to the hospital—and vandalizing private and public property before authorities imposed a 10 p.m. curfew.

Police radios are going crazy, reports of multiple assaults, fighting in the subway, looting of a 7-11 & street vendor threatened with her own knife.

BREAKING🚨: Teen takeover underway in Downtown Chicago right now.

Heavy CPD and Cook County Sheriff presence responding. Teens reportedly tasing each other, per a Sergeant on scene. Group of kids fighting on the CTA tracks. Over 100 teens gathered in the Loop as of 9pm.
