Prime Minister Benjamin was updated on Wednesday on developments concerning the investigation into the murder of Rabbi Raziel Shevach by Palestinian terrorists on Tuesday night.

Security officials are focusing on intelligence gathering  in order to nab the perpetrators.

Netanyahu spoke to Shin Bet (Israel’s Security Agency) director Nadav Agmon and received the latest information on the manhunt for the terror cell, which is believed to be hiding out in or around the city of Shechem (Nablus).

“I have no doubt that it’s only a question of time, I hope not a long time, until we apprehend the murderers. We are committed to this,” Netanyahu stated.

Palestinian terrorists killed Shevach, a resident of Havat Gilad in northern Samaria, in a drive-by shooting. Shevach, a father of six, was 35. The assailants fled the scene in their vehicle.

The IDF boosted its presence in Samaria and expanded its checkpoints at the entrances to Shechem. The IDF also imposed a partial curfew on surrounding Palestinian towns.
