His wife is unaccounted for. An Israeli tourist who was visiting Berlin was seriously wounded in Monday’s terrorist attack in the city, while his wife is so far unaccounted for, Israel’s foreign ministry said Tuesday.The victim, 60, was visiting a popular Christmas market filled with tourists and locals outside the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church when it was hit by an Islamic terrorist who drove a truck through the holiday event, killing 12 and wounding some 50. The man’s life was declared to be out of danger after he underwent successful surgery.In the meantime, the man’s wife, who is thought to have been near him at the time of the attack, is missing, and local authorities are working to track her down.Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a statement on Tuesday condemning the “reprehensible” attack. “Israel condemns what appears to be a terrorist attack in Germany.
