Adina Moshe, one of the Israeli hostages who was released in late November, recounted seeing October 7th terror mastermind Yahya Sinwar waving at the hostages and smiling, apparently pleased with his actions.

Speaking to Channel 12 news, Adina Moshe said that she saw Yahya Sinwar coming out to greet them. He waved and asked “How are you?”

“He was so happy,” she said.

Adina Moshe recounted how she “photographed everything with her eyes.”

“I counted the stairs, I counted the floors, I counted everything.”

She remembers seeing Yarden Bibas, whose wife and two small children are also being held hostage.

Adina recalls that Yarden Bibas was confined in a cage in total darkness and said, “I fought them.”

“He was sure the two small children were saved,” Adina said.

The Bibas children, Kfir who turned one in captivity and Ariel, aged 4 are the only small children left as hostages in Gaza.

They with their mother Shiri were supposed to have been released with the other women and children in late November, but Hamas didn’t adhere to their previous agreement.

Adina Moshe wasn’t the only hostage to have recounted seeing Yahya Sinwar.

Yocheved Lifshitz, 85 who was kidnapped from her home in Nir Oz recalled seeing Sinwar when he visited the tunnel where they were confined shortly after October 7th.

She told Davar, “Sinwar was with us three to four days after we arrived.”

“I asked him how he is not ashamed to do such a thing to people who all these years have supported peace,” Liftshitz added.

“He didn’t answer. He was silent,” she said.

Sinwar is said to speak fluent Hebrew after having learned the language from his years imprisoned in Israel for kidnapping and killing two Israeli soldiers and four Palestinians he considered collaborators.

While in prison, Sinwar had a malignant brain tumor, and his life was saved by an Israeli surgeon.

Sinwar was freed through a prisoner exchange and was one of the Palestinians released in exchange for kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.

It’s believed that Yahya Sinwar is hiding in a tunnel in Khan Younis, although some reports speculate that he could have traveled far within the tunnel system and may be using hostages as human shields.
