Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was mulling over cancelling the trip planned by Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), who were expected to arrive soon in Israel.

Israel announced the decision to ban the two congresswomen on Thursday afternoon.
