Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency reported on a naval ballistic missile test-launched recently by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).“In a speech on Thursday, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said the IRGC forces successfully test-fired the Hormuz-2 missile in recent days,” the news agency said on Thursday.“The naval ballistic missile called Hormuz 2 this week has successfully destroyed a target which was 250 km away,” Tasnim quoted Amir Ali Hajizadeh as saying.According to Tasnim, the “Hormuz-2” is a naval ballistic missile capable of striking moving targets at sea with high accuracy and in a range of 300 kilometers (180 miles).
