WATCH: US Ambassador Yechiel Leiter slams BBC for insinuating Israel, US started war with Iran

U.S. Ambassador Yechiel Leiter blasted the BBC for claiming that Israel and the United States initiated hostilities against Iran and for focusing on “humanitarian issues” in Lebanon while ignoring Hezbollah’s indiscriminate rocket fire.

Let me be very clear:

we did not initiate hostilities against Iran. Iran initiated hostilities against us, and western civilisation as a whole, when the Ayatollahs came into power in 1979.
