Hezbollah denied the report and said it was “fabricated.” “Well-informed sources told Al-Manar that the media reports on an Israeli air raid on one of Hezbollah arms convoys in the town of Majdal Anjar, which lies near Lebanon’s eastern border with Syria, are fabricated,” the network, a Hezbollah affiliate, reported.Hezbollah has denied such reports in the past, even ones that were later validated.There have been several previous reports of IAF airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in Syria, primarily against weapons shipments.
