Arabs brutally beat Jewish residents of Jerusalem’s Old City

Two Jewish victims are recovering from severe injuries after being viciously attacked by an Arab mob.

The area near the Lions’ Gate entrance to Jerusalem’s Old City was the scene of a brutal attack by local Arabs on two Jewish residents. While both men were left severely bruised, one of them required treatment at  nearby hospital due to a head injury he sustained during the beating.

According to a report by Arutz Sheva, police arrested some of the attackers, who were taken to  the Merchav David Station in Jerusalem for questioning.

Relatives of one of the victims said that the attack was s tragic reminder or the murder of Rabbi Nehemia Lavi, who was killed near the Lions’ Gate as he attempted to help victims being stabbed by a terrorist. Rabbi Lavi, a resident of the area, was ultimately stabbed to death by the terrorist.
