‘The entire people of Israel grieve’ after deadly Pittsburgh synagogue massacre, Netanyahu says

“The entire people of Israel grieve with the families of the dead,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated in the aftermath of the shooting attack at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Saturday morning. The cabinet stood for a moment of silence during the weekly meeting Sunday morning.

I was heartbroken and appalled by the murderous attack on a Pittsburgh synagogue today. The entire people of Israel grieve with the families of the dead. We stand together with the Jewish community of Pittsburgh. We stand together with the American people in the face of this horrendous antisemitic brutality. And we all pray for the speedy recovery of the wounded.
