Some 10,000 Arabs gathered in the northern Israeli city of Umm al-Fahm on Wednesday to attend the late-night funerals of the three Arab terrorists who murdered two Israeli Druze police officers – Master Sgt. Kamil Shnaan and Master Sgt. Haiel Sitawe – on July 14 at the entrance to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The terrorists – Muhammad Ahmed Muhammad Jabarin, 29, Muhammad Hamad Abdel Latif Jabarin, 19, and Muhammad Ahmed Mafdal Jabarin, 19 – were cousins and residents of Umm al-Fahm.Ecstatic crowds set off fireworks, flew Palestinian flags and screamed praises for the “martyrs of Al-Aqsa” (the mosque on the Temple Mount compound) as they carried the bodies of the terrorists to their graves. The Israel Police held the bodies of the terrorists for almost two weeks after the July 14 attack. Israel’s High Court of Justice ruled July on Tuesday that the bodies must be returned to their families. The police and High Court were unsuccessful in their attempt to limit the size of the funeral, fearing it would turn into a terror-supporting event, which it ultimately did.Read Next US Defense Secretary backed reestablishment of Jewish Temple on Temple MountThroughout the day, Israeli media attempted to interview Israeli-Arab leaders and lawmakers to hear their comments regarding the blatant display of support for terrorism among their constituents.
