One of the teen’s lawyers said he had been prohibited from meeting his client.Adi Keidar, one of the suspects’ lawyer, told IDF Radio Sunday that he fears “that things that should not happen are happening. A minor’s basic right to meet a lawyer is being withheld from him,” he said, charging that the Shin Bet “must see things differently.”The Shin Bet has been investigating a few incidents suspected as hate crimes committed by Jews against Arabs, and chiefly a stone-throwing incident in October that killed Aisha Mohammed Rabi. The 48-year-old Palestinian woman was killed after being hit in the head by a stone thrown at the car in which she and her family were driving. While Rabi’s husband, who was driving the car, claims the stone was thrown by a group of Jews, Shin Bet and Police sources say there are disagreements within the organizations over the accuracy of that statement, adding that they have yet to corroborate his account.Read A coup attempt in the shadow of October 7th? rock-throwingSamariaShin Bet
