Police suspect that two synagogues in the Pisgat Ze’ev neighborhood of Jerusalem were intentionally set on fire on Saturday by Palestinians terrorists.

The synagogues are situated in close proximity to the Arab neighborhood of Shuafat.

Fire investigators concluded from findings at the site of the blaze that the fires were the result of intentional arson.

Arabs rioters threw rocks at the firefighters as they worked to extinguish the flames. No one was injured in the incident.

In a separate and unrelated incident, an Israeli woman from the same neighborhood was wounded by a bullet, which was likely fired by Palestinians in Shuafat.

The woman, 35, felt a pain in her leg and went to the hospital. Examinations by medical staff determined she had a bullet lodged in her foot.

Police, who believe it was a “stray bullet,” have launched an investigation into the incident. There have been several incidents of Pisgat Ze’ev residents wounded by sporadic gunfire emanating from Shuafat.

Earlier Saturday, Palestinian terrorists hurled a Molotov cocktail at Jewish residents in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Ma’alot David.
