IDF strikes Hamas in Gaza after terrorists’ gunfire and rocket attacks

Israel strikes Hamas positions in Gaza after terrorists shot at an IDF unit operating on the border fence with Gaza, damaging an army vehicle.

Palestinian terrorists fired at an IDF unit operating on the border fence with the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.

No Israelis were harmed in the attack, but an IDF tractor was hit.

This attack comes just hours after Palestinian terrorists fired a rocket from Gaza at Israel’s civilian population.

The rocket exploded in an open space, causing no casualties or damage.

It was the second rocket attack from Gaza this week and the fifth attack in the past month. In total, terrorists fired nine rockets at Israel over this time period.

In response,  Israel’s Air Force (IAF) and an IDF tank bombed two Hamas positions in Gaza.

The IDF views the Hamas terror organization as bearing sole responsibility for all incidents emanating from the Gaza Strip.

There has been a spate of terrorist gunfire and mortar shelling targeting IDF forces on the border with Gaza.
