IDF shuts down 2 Palestinian weapons production plants

Palestinian terrorists continue to try and develop their terror capabilities by producing homemade weapons.

Israeli security forces shut down two illegal Palestinian weapons production plants on Monday night, one in Yatta near Hebron and one in Jenin.

In Yatta, the forces sealed the workshop and arrested its owner.

They also conducted searches for weapons throughout the town and uncovered an improvised gun with matching bullets, a suitcase containing 15 knives, ammunition and incitement materials.

Since the beginning of 2016, in a special effort to stop the prolific Palestinian weapons production venture, Israeli forces have rounded up more than 370 firearms and shut at least 36 weapons production plants.

In related news, IDF forces conducted counter-terror raids throughout Judea and Samaria and arrested six Palestinians wanted in connection with terrorism and acts of violence.
