Israel demolishes home of terrorist who murdered 2 Israelis

Israeli forces demolished the home of a Palestinian terrorist who murdered two Israelis in October.

Israeli forces early Thursday morning demolished the home of a Palestinian terrorist who murdered two Israelis in a shooting attack in Jerusalem in October.

The IDF said in a statement that, acting in accordance with directives from the government, it destroyed the home of Masabah Abu Sabih, in the village of Akeb, north of Jerusalem.

Abu Sabih shot and murdered Levanah Malihi, 60, and Yosef Kirma, a police officer, and wounded six others. The terrorist was killed by responding police forces.

During the demolition operation, Israeli forces encountered resistance, including shootings. A Palestinian who threw an explosive device at the forces was shot and killed.

No Israelis were injured in the incident.

The demolition of terrorists’ homes is meant to serve as deterrence for potential terrorists who are plotting future attacks. It is part of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s methods to contend with the recent wave of Palestinian terror attacks, which has claimed the lives of 41 victims in over a year.

In related news, IDF forces shuttered a printing house that produced and dispersed materials inciting terrorism. The business’s owner was arrested.

“This action is part of a campaign to counter incitement, in which tens of inciters were arrested and printing houses which produced inciting materials were shut down,” the IDF stated.
