(Gershon Elinson/Flash90)(Gershon Elinson/Flash90)Palestinian terrorist wounds Israeli in stabbing attack Tweet WhatsApp Email https://worldisraelnews.com/palestinian-terrorist-wounds-israeli-stabbing-attack/ Email Print An Israeli man was lightly wounded in a stabbing attack on Friday night.A Palestinian terrorist stabbed and wounded an Israeli man on Friday night in the city of Efrat in Gush Etzion, just south of Jerusalem.The terrorist infiltrated the community, carrying a knife, and attacked the victim, Rafi Lisker, who was out strolling with his wife.Lisker was stabbed in the back and neck four times before the terrorist fled the scene, while the victim’s wife ran and called for help.Lisker was evacuated to Shaare Zedek hospital in Jerusalem in light condition, where he was treated and released on Saturday night. Security forces streamed to the area and launched a search for the terrorist. In the meantime, the residents of Efrat were ordered to stay indoors. The search, which included a house-to-house search in a nearby Palestinian village, was called off after several hours, and the terrorist is still at large.Speaking to IDF Radio on Sunday, Lisker said it was a miracle that a more lethal attack did not occur, saying that while he did not consider himself a hero, his struggle with the terrorist minimized the extent of the injuries.Read South Africa to rename street after Palestinian terroristIn September, a Palestinian terrorist stabbed and moderately wounded an IDF officer in Efrat after infiltrating the community.
