‘Baby-killing Satanists’ – California hotel worker harasses Israeli guests

The Israeli hotel guest said she feared the employee might break into their room and harm them.

A California hotel worker who filmed himself harassing Israeli guests in an unprovoked verbal confrontation — and then posted the video online — was fired after the clip went viral.

The employee later claimed he had been unjustly dismissed and launched an online fundraiser that quickly secured him thousands of dollars, raising concerns about the acceptability of public harassment directed at Israelis and Jews in the United States.

The employee, identified on social media as 24-year-old Ryan Smith, filmed himself yelling “Free Palestine” at an Israeli couple staying at Oceanpoint Ranch in Cambria, California.

The Israeli woman in the video, who was not publicly identified, appeared calm during the confrontation and told Smith that he was supposed to remain “objective” while interacting with guests — a comment that seemed to further anger him.

Smith then hurled insults at the couple and attempted to provoke the husband by asking whether he had served in the IDF and accusing him of being a “baby-killer.”

In Hebrew, the woman can be heard telling her husband that she feared the employee might later break into their room and harm them.

Smith later posted the confrontation online with a caption referring to the husband as a “Satanic little [expletive],” suggesting the man had acted cowardly by refusing to engage with him.

In his social media post about the incident, Smith described speaking with the Israelis as staring “into the soul of the devil” and referred to them as “dirty Zionists.”

A manager at Oceanpoint Ranch confirmed to the New York Post that Smith had been fired following the incident.

However, Smith did not stop posting online after his termination.

“The employee was fired. This is where the story usually ends. It does not end here,” wrote pro-Israel activist Hen Mazzig on X.

According to Mazzig, Smith subsequently launched a GoFundMe campaign titled “Support Ryan’s Stand for Justice,” which reportedly raised nearly $8,000 in roughly a day.

“In his own words, he was let go for ‘speaking up on the genocide,’” Mazzig wrote.

“That is one version of events. The other version is on camera. This is what 2026 looks like for Jews,” he added.
