A Palestinian terrorist stabbed and wounded an IDF soldier at the Gush Etzion Junction on Tuesday morning.

The victim, a 34-year-old IDF reservist, sustained a light stab wound to his face and was evacuated to Shaare Zedek hospital in Jerusalem.

The terrorist was shot and killed by IDF forces.

The Gush Etzion Junction has been the site of several terror attacks in the current wave of Palestinian terror attacks, and this was the eleventh such attack.

The two most notable attacks were the killing of Hadar Buchris on November 22 and the shooting of three victims, an Israeli, Ya’akov Don, an American Jew, Ezra Schwartz, and a Palestinian on November 19.

These incidents were the latest in a long series of Palestinian terror attacks, which have plagued Israelis over the course of the past three-and-a-half months, claiming the lives of 26 victims and wounding over 280.
