Palestinians launch shooting attack in Samaria; no casualties

Palestinian terrorists fired at the Israeli community of Sha’arei Tikvah, in Samaria, on Monday night. No one was injured in the attack.

The IDF stated that the terrorists emerged in a vehicle from the nearby Palestinian village of Beit Amin and fired at Israeli homes. One home was hit.

The IDF launched a manhunt for the terrorists.

In related news, a Bedouin carrying funds meant for terrorism was arrested on Tuesday night at the Meitar crossing, south of Hebron.

The suspect was found to be carrying over NIS 500,000 in cash. After his arrest, security forces raided his home in Tel Sheva, were they found larger sums of money, meant for terrorism as well.

They arrested the suspect’s father and confiscated cellular phones.

Palestinian terror groups provide funds and goods to families of Palestinian terrorists as support in exchange for their acts of terror.

“The police, together with the Shin Bet and the various security services, operate to uproot terrorism in all its fashions, including operations against terrorism funding,” the police stated.

Similarly, Israeli security forces launched counter-terror operations throughout Judea and Samaria on Tuesday night during which they arrested 16 Palestinians linked to terrorism.
