Zahar, who was leading a parliamentary delegation to Iran, also condemned certain Islamic countries’ actions against Iran, which weakened the position of the Palestinian cause.Iran, whose leaders have spoken openly of destroying Israel, supports Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip.The U.S. administration under President Donald Trump has pulled out of the pact signed by six world powers, including the U.S. under President Barack Obama, with Tehran on curbing Iran’s nuclear program. Netanyahu and Trump have argued that the pact does not crack down enough against Iranian ambitions.
