They met with US national security adviser Jake Sullivan, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and White House Middle East affairs coordinator Brett McGurk.The Israeli and US officials discussed the escalation on Israel’s northern border with Lebanon as well as the hostage deal that Hamas has yet to accept and the role of Iran in the wider conflict.
