HAPPY CHANUKAH FROM WIN!

All of us at World Israel News would like to wish you a Happy Chanukah.

By World Israel News Staff

We wish you a joyous Festival of Lights.

Chanukah starts tonight, the 25th of Kislev, according to the Hebrew calendar.

It celebrates the re-dedication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem during the Maccabean Revolt from  167 to 160 B.C.E.

As you light the candles, play dreidel with your family, enjoy latkes and jelly donuts, and exchange gifts, take a moment also to reflect on the sacrifices made to bring the Jewish people to this point, where they are once again a free people in their ancient land.

Enjoy this 2017 video from Y-Studs A Capella, a unique group breaking ground in Jewish music. It seems more appropriate in these times than ever.
