Both were rushed to the hospital and doctors fought to save their lives, but to no avail.Malihi, a mother of three and grandmother of six, retired in 2010 after working 30 years at the Knesset – Israel’s parliament. “Veteran workers remember a very warm woman, loved by all, dedicated, caring and modest,” according to a statement by a Knesset spokesperson.Kirma is survived by a wife, who he married just six months ago, his parents and two brothers. He received a citation this year after foiling a terror attack in December. While on patrol in the capital, he noticed a suspicious individual around a kindergarten. After confronting the suspect, Kirma discovered he was carrying a knife. The apprehended Palestinian admitted he intended to commit a terror attack.
