IDF raids Hamas terror commanders’ offices in Khan Younis

An earlier report revealed that a Hamas attack against IDF soldiers was launched in the northern part of the city from Nasser Hospital.

The IDF announced it launched targeted raids on the offices of Hamas leaders in Khan Younis on Tuesday.

The office belonged to a terror battalion commander in the southern part of the city.

The commandos found in the Hamas offices weapons, ammunition, grenades, and surveillance cameras, the latter of which they destroyed.

IDF soldiers neutralized terrorists in close combat when raiding the Hamas offices.

An earlier report revealed that a Hamas attack against IDF soldiers was launched in the northern part of the city from Nasser Hospital.

Hamas frequently uses hospitals for storing weapons and military operations as was seen at Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City at the beginning of the war.

In addition, the terrorist group often robs hospitals of their resources, including water, food, and fuel.

Other operations in Khan Younis included attacking the headquarters of the terror group Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

the IDF also destroyed 100 facilities for launching rockets and neutralized a large number of terrorists.

Fighters of the IDF’s 401st Armored Brigade’s Combat Team discovered the rocket facilities in the Beit Lahia area in Gaza.

Hamas was preparing to launch 60 of these into Israel.

Between October 7th and January 9th, the Israel Defense Forces have eliminated more than 9,000 Palestinian terrorists, Israel’s military reported.

The IDF has also neutralized two out of Hamas’s five brigade-level commanders.

Also, 19 battalion-level commanders and 50 company commanders were killed.

Since October 7th, the Israeli military attacked some 30,000 terror targets in Gaza, and ground forces detained and interrogated  2,300 terror suspects.
