The soldier escaped unharmed.The Paris prosecutor’s office says counter-terrorism investigators have opened a probe into the incident, based on preliminary examination of the attacker’s background.The assailant made “remarks referring to Allah,” according to a police source quoted in French media, the Daily Star reported.The soldier was carrying out a patrol as part of Operation Sentinelle, launched after the mass-casualty Islamic terror attacks in Paris, which claimed 130 lives in November 2015.
