(Magen David Adom)Magen David AdomGas truck rams and kills IDF soldier in terror attack north of Jerusalem Tweet WhatsApp Email https://worldisraelnews.com/gas-truck-rams-into-israeli-pedestrians-in-terror-attack-north-of-jerusalem/ Email Print Two pedestrians run down as Palestinian fuel truck slams into bus stop next to Israeli town in Samaria.By David Rosenberg, World Israel NewsTwo people were injured Wednesday morning when a Palestinian fuel truck slammed into a bus stop outside of an Israeli town north of Jerusalem.The attack occurred just outside of Givat Assaf, a fledgling community outside of Beit El in Samaria, when a fuel truck bearing Palestinian license plates swerved off the road and into a bus stop, hitting two pedestrians.One of the two victims, a man in his 20s, was critically injured in the attack.Emergency first responders from Magen David Adom (MDA) and United Hatzalah were dispatched to the scene to treat the victims and evacuate them to a hospital for further treatment.The IDF confirmed the attack and said that soldiers present at the scene opened fire on the terrorist and “neutralized” him. No details were provided regarding the terrorist’s condition.Yossi Amar, a United Hatzalah volunteer EMT and head of the organization’s Binyamin branch, reported at the scene.“I was close by when I heard gunshots. I quickly arrived at the scene and saw a truck, which, according to bystanders, had run over a pedestrian. One person with critical injuries was treated at the scene. The terrorist has been neutralized.”Read Fearing Hamas coup, PA battles terror groups in JeninLarge numbers of IDF forces were deployed immediately following the attack and roadblocks have been set up around the scene as sappers examine the terrorist’s truck for explosives.Settlement Minister Orit Strook (Religious Zionist Party) called on the government to restore the checkpoints set up in Judea and Samaria immediately following the October 7th invasion.“Enough of the death roads in Judea and Samaria!” Strook tweeted.“The checkpoints from the 8th of October need to be brought back.
