I hope soon you will move your embassy to Jerusalem; we hope,” Netanyahu told Morales in Washington.Guatemalan President Morales replied, “It is an honor and it is the right thing to do.”The Guatemalan leader invited Netanyahu to visit his country, to which the Israeli premier responded by extending a mutual invitation.Israeli TV channel Hadashot reported Sunday evening that Guatemala, like the US, is planning to move its embassy to Jerusalem in May.Netanyahu traveled to Washington this week to address the annual American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) conference and to meet with Trump, where the discussion will focus mainly on the Iranian threat and Iran’s presence in Syria.
