By World Israel News Staff Israeli security forces recently uncovered a makeshift rocket assembly facility in Samaria, adjacent to the Green Line demarcating Israel’s pre-1967 borders. On Tuesday, the IDF and the Shin Bet security agency issued a joint statement announcing that last month, the Israeli army carried out a raid on a terrorist weapons lab in the Palestinian Authority-administered city of Tulkarem. During the raid, which was guided by Shin Bet intelligence, three rockets were found in various stages of production. The operation was the result of an ongoing investigationconducted by the Shin Bet in conjunction with Israel Police into a terrorist cell based in Tulkarem that has been linked to multiple terrorist attacks over the past few months. During the Shin Bet interrogation of one of the terrorists, Ahmad Abu Samra, it was revealed that Abu Samra was responsible for attaching a makeshift explosive device to an IDF Panther multipurpose armored vehicle this past September, which resulted in the injury of several soldiers. Abu Samra was also linked to a failed attack using a similar method against a David-type armored jeep. In a bombing attack earlier this month, Abu Samra targeted an IDF jeep, leaving an Israeli army colonel injured. Harisha is also believed to have supplied components and materials required for manufacturing explosives. Following the interrogations, IDF forces from the Ephraim Brigade on November 17, 2025 raided a weapons lab used by the Tulkarem cell, seizing three rockets in various stages of preparation, explosive devices, activation systems, explosive-manufacturing components, and materials for producing explosives. One of the rockets contained a warhead and explosive material, the IDF and Shin Bet said. IDFrocketsTulkaremTulkarm
