Israeli policemen arrested an Arab employee of Sheba hospital in Tel Aviv in suspicion that he had threatened to commit terror attacks and incited others to do so, Israel’s Walla news site reported Sunday.

The man, 26, was the supervisor of the hospital’s cleaning staff.

The police say they have obtained intelligence that implicates the suspect in inciting his coworkers to commit terror attacks against Israeli targets.

The suspect was arrested at work and was remanded Sunday at the Jerusalem District Court, which extended his arrest by two days.

A police representative stated that, according to their suspicion, “the suspect, who was racially motivated, was involved in inciting individuals to commit attacks against Jews.”
