Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or, whose abductions on motorbikes were witnessed by the entire world and came to symbolize the horror of October 7th, stood side by side once more as symbols of freedom and resilience.

Seeing them in the White House represented a dramatic reversal of the nightmare millions watched begin.

Before the meeting, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt cut her briefing short so the President could greet the hostages without delay, telling reporters, “I’m gonna let you all go,” which heightened anticipation for the gathering.

Inside the East Room, the atmosphere was warm and celebratory. Trump personally handed each hostage and family member a presidential challenge coin, smiling as he said, “Take these; these are super coins,” prompting grateful reactions from the families.

One of the sweetest moments came when David Cunio’s young daughter stepped forward and said, “I want one.”

Trump gave her a coin and she asked, “What are these coins?” drawing smiles and laughter across the room.

The gathering also included emotional gift exchanges.

The Berman twins presented Trump with the mezuzah they discovered in the ruins of Kfar Aza, a sacred remnant of Jewish life they rescued from destruction. Trump accepted it with deep appreciation.

Bar Kupershtein then gifted Trump a Trump kipa, which he proudly accepted.

Trump praised the bravery of the survivors and told them, “You’re not hostages today. You are heroes,” reaffirming America’s unwavering support for Israel and his commitment to bringing home every remaining captive.
