Iran Claims Israel-Linked Ship Seized in Hormuz

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Navy escalated tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, attacking three vessels since this morning and seizing two at gunpoint near Iranian waters.

One of the ships, the MSC Francesca, was claimed by Iran to be linked to Israel, while the Epaminondes was seized over allegations it was operating without a license.

The incidents appear to send a direct message to U.S. President Donald Trump, as Tehran turns to military pressure amid stalled diplomacy.

The escalation comes as planned talks between the United States and Iran in Pakistan have collapsed.
