The terrorist was killed by responding police forces.Two of the victims are still hospitalized. A 50-year-old woman is hospitalized in light condition, and a 28-year-old policeman is hospitalized with moderate wounds.Jerusalem police conducted some 30 arrests of Palestinians who rioted after the terror attacks and participated in celebrations in honor of the terrorist and in support of his attack. The arrests included family members of the terrorist. The detained are charged with incitement to terrorism.Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon sent a letter to the UN Security Council demanding that the Palestinian Authority (PA) condemn the attack. Photographs of the celebrations in Gaza, during which candy was handed out as pictures of the terrorist were displayed, were submitted with the letter.Read Israeli lawmaker under fire for calling fallen Israeli soldier 'monster' and 'murderer' “Demand that the PA cease all incitement immediately, and unequivocally condemn these horrific murders in Jerusalem,” Danon demanded of the UNSC. “It is past time for the international community to state clearly and unconditionally that praising terror and glorifying terrorists is wrong, and unacceptable, and to hold the Palestinian leadership accountable.” Highlighting the devastating role played by Palestinian incitement, Danon noted that “the glorification of terror is the direct cause of the non-stop campaign of terror against Israelis, and the murder of Levanah Malihi and Yosef Kirma [who were murdered in the attack]. An entire new generation of young Palestinians is being raised to hatred and violence.”Hundreds of policemen were added to secure Jerusalem amid fears of further copy-cat terror attacks and pursuit to assessments that Palestinians will carry out terror attacks to mar the Jewish New Year holidays’ celebrations, fears which have in fact materialized.The IDF has also boosted its forces in all sectors, and especially at flashpoints.IDF forces mapped the terrorist’s home in Kafr Akeb in north Jerusalem in preparation for its pending demolition. Forces shut down a weapons production plant in the Palestinian village of Azun.
