A daughter was born on Sunday night to Natan Meir and his second wife Zohar Morgenstern, Arutz 7 reported.

Meir’s first wife Dafna was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist in January 2016 at the Meirs’ home in Otniel, near Hebron.

Morgenstern and Meir were engaged in March 2017 and married a few months later.

The baby is Morgenstern’s first. Meir has six children, including two long-term foster children. His eldest daughter, Renana, married in June 2017.

The 15-year-old Muslim terrorist who appeared at the entrance to Meir’s home stabbed Dafna Meir repeatedly. He was later caught and arrested. He received a 16-year prison sentence and was ordered to pay a fine of 1.75 million NIS.

In his testimony, the terrorist, Morad Bader Abdullah Adais, said Dafna Meir fought back fiercely.
