The IRGC warned that these missile strikes were “just a warning to deter any further action by the terrorists,” adding that ISIS’ “regional and trans-regional supporters,” possibly meaning Saudi Arabia and the US, will be “engulfed by its [Iran’s] revolutionary wrath and flames of the fire of its revenge in case they repeat any such devilish and dirty move in future.”Read 5 Things to know about Israel's retaliatory attack on Iran “IRGC ensures the noble Iranian nation that it will spare no effort to safeguard national security and defeat seditions and anti-security phenomena to the accompaniment of military, disciplinary, intelligence forces,” the statement concluded. This strike marks a rare direct attack from inside Iran at targets in Syria amid its support for President Bashar Assad.
