Israeli security prevents Palestinian car-ramming, stabbing attack

Israeli security forces were successful in preventing another Palestinian terror attack.

A female Palestinian terrorist attempted to hit Israeli security forces with her car and then stab them during an attack at the Qalandiya security checkpoint, just north of Jerusalem, on Tuesday.

The terrorist dangerously sped with her car towards her target. The officers ordered her to halt while firing in the air.

She then stopped and exited her vehicle while wielding a knife and shouting Allahu Akbar — Arabic for “God is greater” —a phrase often used by Muslim terrorists during attacks. The security forces overpowered and arrested her.

No one was injured in the incident.

The Qalandiya crossing has been the site of numerous Palestinian terror attacks over the past year.

The role of female Palestinian terrorists has grown markedly in the most recent wave of terror attacks.

This incident was the latest in a long series of Palestinian terror attacks which have plagued Israelis over the course of more than a year, claiming the lives of 41 victims and wounding over 550.
