“Your country failed you,” Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said, apologizing on behalf of his nation for its role in turning away Jewish refugees from Germany aboard the MS St Louis in 1939. Speaking Wednesday in the House of Commons during Holocaust Education Week, Trudeau added that there was still much to be done to combat anti-Semitism, including “BDS-related intimidation” on university campuses.
