Palestinian car-ramming injures 60-year-old Israeli; terrorist killed

A man of about 60, attacked by a Palestinian terrorist in Gush Etzion, south of Jerusalem, is being treated at a Jerusalem hospital.

An Israeli man suffered a head injury in a Palestinian car-ramming/stabbing attack at the Gush Etzion Junction Wednesday afternoon.

The victim, approximately 60 years of age, is suffering light wounds and was taken to Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center for treatment.

Security forces shot and killed the terrorist.

“Our EMS volunteers, including EMTs, paramedics and doctors who live in the area, dropped whatever it was that they were doing and responded to this attack – the second attack in just five days,” United Hatzalah, an emergency medical services organization, stated, referring to the fatal stabbing attack on Friday that claimed the life of British student Hannah Bladon on a Jerusalem light rail train.

Yossi Hess, a senior EMT, said that when he “arrived at the scene, I saw one person suffering from a head wound. The person was fully conscious and was able to respond to questions when prompted.”

The Ma’an News Agency reported that the terrorist was 21-year-old Suhaib Moussa Mashour Mashahra from the village of al-Sawahira, just outside of Jerusalem.
