Hamas leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar says terror group ready to release all Israeli hostages for all Palestinian prisoners

IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari labeled the Hamas pm’s remarks as a form of “psychological terror”

Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip said the terror group was willing to release all Israeli hostages in return for the freedom of “all our prisoners held in your prisons.”

Sinwar announced, “We are ready to immediately conclude a prisoner exchange deal that involves releasing all our prisoners held in your prisons in exchange for freeing all captives held by the resistance.”

Responding to Sinwar’s remarks, IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari labeled them as a form of “psychological terror” strategically employed by Hamas to exert pressure.

He added that Israel is committed to exhausting a range of strategies, including civilian and intelligence methods, to ensure the hostages are safely retrieved.

Hamas claimed earlier this week that 50 prisoners were killed in Israeli airstrikes, but offered no proof.

The IDF on Saturday announced that the number of hostages had risen to 230. Out of these, only four, Judith Ra’anan, her daughter Natalie, Yocheved Lifshitz, and Nurit Cooper, have been returned until now.
