By World Israel News Staff The IDF said it carried out two separate strikes in southern Lebanon Wednesday morning, targeting Hezbollah terrorists in the Sidon area and in the Burj al-Shamali area. Lebanese reports earlier in the day said a vehicle was hit by an Israeli drone in the Zahrani area near Sidon. A short time later, additional reports described an IDF strike in Burj al-Shamali in southern Lebanon. The military later confirmed both operations, saying it struck a Hezbollah terrorist in the Sidon area and another in the Burj al-Shamali area. The strikes come after the IDF carried out a broader wave of airstrikes on Hezbollah terror infrastructure across southern Lebanon on Monday, targeting launch sites, military camps, and weapons storage shafts. The military said those camps were being used to train terrorists for attacks against Israeli forces and civilians. Over the weekend, Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem issued a warning to Israel, saying “aggression toward Lebanon cannot continue” and insisting the Iran-backed terror group has “the right to defend ourselves.” “We will not surrender,” Qassem said. “We will not accept continued strikes in the country without doing anything. Everything has a limit.” HezbollahNaim QassemSidonsouth Lebanon
