Israeli police release sketch of suspect in mysterious murder of Jerusalem couple

Two years after the mysterious and brutal murder of a couple in their 70s in Jerusalem, the capital’s police are still investigating the case and published on Monday a sketch of a possible suspect, its latest attempt to crack the case.

The couple, Tamar and Yehuda Kaduri, was found dead in January 2019 in their Armon Hanatziv apartment with significant signs of violence and stab wounds on their bodies. The two were believed to have been dead for several days before they were found.

The police stated that all investigative venues are under consideration. There were no signs of forced entry into the apartment, and the front door was found locked.

All other details on the investigation have been placed under a gag order

Over the past two years, the police have investigated several possible suspects, including the victims’ relatives, and has examined various motives and angles to the murder, but with no concrete results.

In its latest attempt to crack the case, the police published a sketch of a person of interest in the case. The man is seen wearing a baseball cap and has a long beard.

The police also published security footage in which the supposed suspect is seen. It provided no further details.

The Armon Hanatziv neighborhood is situated adjacent to Arab neighborhoods and has been the site of several terror attacks, some of them lethal.
