Summer camp run by Arab-Israeli political party promotes terror

In yet another example of terrorist indoctrination via youth summer camps, the Balad party promotes the murder of innocent Israelis.

The Balad political party, one of four belonging to the Arab Joint List and whose members hold seats in the Israeli parliament, hosted a summer  program that continues the Palestinian tradition of misusing children’s camps as breeding grounds for future generations of terrorists.

The closing ceremony of the Balad summer camp featured a parade designed to “honor” Palestinians eliminated while attempting to kill and maim Israelis in terrorist attacks. Such individuals are heralded in Palestinian society as “martyrs.”

According to a report by Ynet, the campers hollered slogans such as “with spirit and blood we will redeem you, martyr” and “with spirit and blood we will redeem you, Palestine.” As the march came to a close, the young campers visited several families of terrorists killed or wounded during their attacks. “We pay our respects to the families of the martyrs,” one of the march’s leaders declared, according to Ynet.

This program is the latest Palestinian summer camp exposed as a training operation to indoctrinate impressionable young minds to hate Israelis, Jews, and other non-Muslims. In a camp in Hamas-ruled Gaza, the youth were rehearsed to carry out a mock stabbing and kidnapping of an Israeli soldier during a barbaric pageant performed for onlookers.

What is unique about the Balad camp, however, is that it exists inside Israel and even within the pre-1967 borders, as well as the fact that it is run by a party in the Knesset.

The Balad camp was the toast of Arab-Israeli politicians such as Joint List MK Hanin Zoabi, whose Facebook page was quoted by Ynet as saying, “The Balad youth’s 18th summer camp has concluded. Balad is proud of its young men and women and hitching its activities and ideology to the spirit of struggle, vigor and force.”

After organizing a camp glorifying the murder of innocent Israelis, the Balad party’s youth organization offered a statement, proclaiming, “The content and activities passed on to the children are part of Balad’s political platform, at the center of which is encouraging the Arab-Palestinian identity, democratic values and the ‘state for all its citizens’ concept.”
