Alex Jones blasts ‘fake Christian nationalist’ Tucker Carlson for promoting antisemitism

InfoWars founder Alex Jones takes aim at “fake Christian, fake nationalist patriots” obsessed with Israel and Jews.

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones excoriated right-wing promoters of anti-Israel and anti-Jewish conspiracy theories, in what appeared to be a swipe at far-right podcasters Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens, as well as white supremacist online influencer Nick Fuentes.

During the Monday edition of his “InfoWars” podcast show, Jones responded to the Islamist terror attack on a Chanukah celebration in Sydney, Australia, and touched on the rise of anti-Israel sentiment among some on the populist right, along with the parallel increase in right-wing antisemitic conspiracy theories.

Jones castigated what he called “fake nationalist, fake Christian patriots” for demonizing Jews and becoming overly fixated on the State of Israel.

In a thinly-veiled reference to Carlson’s recent appearance at a conference in Doha, Qatar, Jones accused some on the far-right of pursuing an alliance between white nationalists and anti-Israel Islamic radicals.

The comments come just over a year after Carlson hosted Jones on his podcast in a highly sympathetic interview.

Jones later called Carlson one of the “two most important people in the world when it comes to promoting free speech in the last year!”

On Monday, however, Jones appeared to blast Carlson over his address at the Doha conference and sympathetic comments regarding the Qatari government.

“They all kissy-fishy all over the internet, and they have joint symposiums together, and they talk about the, you know, national white alliance with Islam,” Jones said.

“You guys are idiots. Absolute. I’m going to explain to you like this, like you’re five years old. You won’t even know what it is, though, you fake nationalist, fake Christian patriots.”

“If I had a glass of water here and a glass of water right here, and one had a couple tablespoons of arsenic in it, and the other had a couple tablespoons of cyanide in it, and I’m like, ‘Don’t drink the arsenic and don’t drink the cyanide.’ You’re like, ‘Why are you covering up for the arsenic?'”

“Why do you care about them Jews?” Jones continued. “A., I don’t want to kill the Jews, and B., the Muslims want to kill all the Christians, too, you dumbasses. So there’s a lot of right-winger populists—not a lot, but it’s a big minority—that literally love Islam.”

Jones suggested that “the Muslims are funding a lot of this Israel obsession” on the American far-right, promoting the idea among populist-nationalists that “Israel is in total control of everything, including what time you have a bowel movement.”

The 51-year-old “InfoWars” founder suggested this was part of a greater scheme to “take over our populist movements so that we’ll stand down and let them take over.”

During the segment, Jones, who has in the past voiced both support for and sharp criticism of Israel, said that he would continue to criticize the Jewish state “when Israel tries to push us around.”

Nevertheless, he emphasized that some right-wing populists have become obsessed with “anti-Jew terms.”

Jones himself in the past has promoted false anti-Israel conspiracy theories and claims that a secret Jewish cabal, what he dubbed the “Jewish mafia,” is part of a New World Order controlling the world.

In 2001, Jones falsely accused Israel of forcing Palestinian Arabs into “concentration camps,” and warned that Israel was leading the US into a nuclear holocaust.

“We’re going to get nuked because of this,” Jones said.

Earlier this year, Jones claimed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “runs Hamas.”
