The Egyptian national who attacked and injured eight participants at a hostage rally in Boulder, Colorado, on Sunday said that he wanted to “kill all Zionists,” would repeat the attack if given the opportunity, and planned the violent act for a year.

The United States District Court charged 45-year-old Mohamed Soliman with a federal hate crime.

According to an FBI affidavit, “He stated that he wanted to kill all Zionist people and wished they were all dead,” adding that Soliman vowed to “do it again.”

The affidavit also mentioned, “Throughout the interview, Soliman stated that he hated the Zionist group … and needed to stop them from taking over ‘our land,’ which he explained to be Palestine.”

The father of five said he planned the attack a year ago but delayed it until after his daughter’s graduation.

He drove a hundred miles from his home in Colorado Springs and, on the way, picked up gas, which he used in the attack.

Soliman said he learned to make Molotov cocktails on YouTube.

At the site, authorities found fourteen undeployed makeshift Molotov cocktails “comprised of glass wine carafe bottles or Ball jars containing clear liquid and red rags hanging out of the bottles.”

They also discovered weed killer, which was potentially flammable, as well as 87-octane gasoline, which was determined to contain xylene.

During the attack, Soliman yelled, “Free Palestine,” and a video showed him holding the Molotov cocktails and shouting, “How many children killed?” and “End Zionists.”

Soliman targeted the Run for Their Lives walk, an event to raise awareness about the hostages remaining in Gaza, after accessing online sources.

His attack injured eight people between the ages of 52 and 88, all of whom were hospitalized.

Two of the victims are in critical condition but are expected to survive.

US President Donald Trump took to social media to blame the attack in Boulder on Sunday that wounded eight people on the Biden administration’s “open border” immigration policy.

A Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official revealed that Soliman of Colorado Springs had overstayed his visa and was in the country illegally.

Trump wrote on Truth Social, “He came in through Biden’s ridiculous Open Border Policy, which has hurt our Country so badly. He must go out under the ‘TRUMP’ Policy. Acts of Terrorism will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law,” Trump wrote. “This is yet another example of why we must keep our Borders SECURE, and deport Illegal, Anti-American Radicals from our Homeland.”
