Gaza terrorists again strike southern Israel with rocket

A day after they fired a rocket at Sderot, Gaza terrorists again fired another rocket aimed at Israel’s civilian population. Israel’s Air Force responded again by attacking various Hamas targets throughout Gaza.

Palestinian terrorists fired a rocket from Gaza at Israel’s civilian population on Thursday, which exploded in an open space in the Eshkol region, causing no casualties or damage.

A siren went off after the rocket was launched, sending thousands of civilians running for cover.

Palestinian sources report that the IDF has responded by shelling terror targets inside Gaza.

This attack comes a day after Palestinian terrorists fired a rocket at the southern city of Sderot. No one was injured in the attack, but several people were treated for shock. The rocket exploded in a road, missing residential homes and a school by a few feet and causing damage to nearby cars.

The IDF responded by shelling several Hamas targets and then later by attacking terror positions in Gaza from the air.

An IAF pilot, Ohad Cohen Nov, 34, was killed when his plane crashed as he was returning from the bombing mission.

An unknown Salafist faction took responsibility for Wednesday’s attack.
