Undercover reporter attends meeting of Holocaust deniers in London

A secret gathering of Holocaust deniers and white supremacists took place in London with the participation of the notorious David Irving.

Notorious Holocaust denier David Irving addressed a secret gathering of the “London Forum,” an organization that describes itself as a “non-party aligned conference group for nationalists, identitarians, thinkers and commentators from across the Right,” where speakers spouted anti-Semitic ideas and conspiracy theories.

According to a report in The Independent, citing an undercover reporter at the forum, Irving opened the event by celebrating the fact that there were “only white faces in the audience.”

One of the audience members reportedly referred to the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox by a far-right terrorist as “cheery news.” Another claimed “all 193 states” in the world were controlled by Jews, while a third attempted to assert that life for African-Americans was “better before the end of slavery.”

Irving filed and lost a libel suit a number of years back against Deborah Lipstadt over her book, Denying the Holocaust, in which she called him a bigot and a Holocaust denier who manipulates facts.

Books available for sale at the event included, for example, “The Biology of the Race Problem,” “The Rise of Hitler,” “Epic: The Story of the Waffen SS” and “SS Man, Be Fruitful,” a booklet originally published by Adolf Hitler’s personal bodyguards.

Also attending the forum was Vincent Reynouard, a Frenchman who, like Irving, served a prison sentence for denying the Holocaust. Reynouard claims that the Holocaust was a “rumor” and that Nazi death camps were used to delouse prisoners.

Holocaust denial is illegal elsewhere in Europe, particularly in Germany, which has repetitively arrested notorious Holocaust denier, Ursula Haverbeck. Irving had served his sentence in Vienna.
