He panicked, lost control of his vehicle, and tragically died in the ensuing accident. The Hezbollah barrages marked a major escalation by the terror group, which had mostly targeted communities in northern Israel directly adjacent to the border with Lebanon.But the barrages early Sunday morning targeted all areas of Israel’s north, including its largest city, Haifa, and its environs, along with the Upper and Lower Galilee, Tiberias area, and the Jezreel Valley.Some of the Hezbollah rockets reached Israeli airspace some 105 kilometers (65 miles) south of the Israel-Lebanon border.
