Palestinian terrorist shot while attacking Israeli forces

Security forces shot a Palestinian terrorist in Samaria, preventing a stabbing attack.

Israeli security forces shot and killed a Palestinian terrorist at the Tapuach Junction in Samaria on Thursday.

The terrorist approached IDF forces securing the area in a menacing manner. When he failed to heed their calls to halt and drew a knife, they fired at him.

No Israelis were harmed in the attack.

The police stated the terrorist was 18 years old, from the Palestinian city of Kalkilya.

The Tapuach Junction has been the site of multiple Palestinian terror attacks over the past year.

In related news, Israeli forces carried out counter terror operations on Wednesday night throughout Judea and Samaria and arrested 15 Palestinians wanted in connection to terrorism, seven of them members of the Hamas terror organization.

IDF forces also uncovered a Kalashnikov assault rifle hidden by a Palestinian during sweeps in the village of Yatta, near Hebron.

These incidents were the latest in a long series of Palestinian terror attacks which have plagued Israelis over the course of more than a year, claiming the lives of 41 victims and wounding over 550.
