Hamas commander dies in a mysterious explosion. A senior commander in Hamas’ Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigades was killed by an explosion over the weekend.Mohammed Al Qoqa, 37, a senior field commander, was killed “in an accidental explosion during preparation work,” according to an official statement by the Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigades.There were no independent sources to confirm the cause of the explosion.He was reportedly an explosives expert and a member of Hamas’ explosives development unit. “Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigades mourned one of its martyrs from Ash-Shati, western Gaza, who was martyred during preparation work.
